Now you all know that I am very fond of a certain brand of paint . . .
My colour of the moment . . . . . . . . . is called Pigeon . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Now this last week . . . . . . . . . I have been on a mission . . . . . .
to transform these . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . old bits of wood . . . .
Can you guess what they are . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ?
I need to transform them into a thing of splendour . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Well then . . . it's out with my wire brush . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Then plenty of undercoat . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Can you guess yet?
Mr Busy Bee said that it was a pile of junk, and it needed throwing away !!
Admittedly these bits of wood, have been in the barn . . . . . . . . . .
for quite a few years longer, than I would care to mention !!
Now for the Farrow and Ball Pigeon . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and after several more coats . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Ta-dah . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
A gorgeous Beehive to put in our garden . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
To complete the look I gave it a heart . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Now . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
whilst I had the tin open . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I thought I would paint our front door too . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Oh lovely . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
but just missing something . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ?
Ta-dah . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Before I go I just wanted to share this photo of Winston with you . . .
Look his grey whiskers match the colour of the Pigeon paint . . . . . .
we are all totally co-ordinated here . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Bless him !!
