Stockings were hung . . . . . .  . . . . . .

Cushions were plumped . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I found it in Asda . . . . . . . . . . for £7.00 !!!

Friday, was the night of the North East Women in Business awards

and I had been nominated for the "Best Rural Business"

JBC and I got dressed up in our best bib and tucker . . .

and off we popped to the Hilton Hotel in Newcastle for

the awards ceremony . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I wasn't however prepared for the glitz and glamour . . .

 

The room was amazing, with 50 tables set with huge candelabras

and a huge staged area, with two screens either side  . . . . . .  .

on which to see the filmed interviews of all the finalists . . . . . . . . . . . .

 
I didn't win . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I was runner up . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

but I was very proud to be part of it . . . . .
