This is our gorgeous Lavender cottage . . . . .

We try to keep Lavender cottage as lovely as possible for our guests.

So every so often we refresh things . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I have recycled . . . . . . . . and "Made do and mended" . . . . . . .  . . .

I have hung the old curtains from our living room at home. . . .

In the living room of our gorgeous Lavender Cottage . . . . . .

And used some of the old cushions too . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

They look gorgeous don't they? I love the way the silk puddles on the floor.

I got out my sewing machine  . . . . . . . . . .  . . . . . . . . . .

And made new cushion covers for the back of the sofa . . . . . . . . .

I have been thrifty . . . . .  . . . . . (That's just kidding myself)

Well thrifty-ish . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  .

I would have been thrifty  . . . . . . . . .  .

If I hadn't found this bargain chair in Laura Ashley . . . . . . . . .

So gorgeous . . .

Could you have left a perfect match like this in the shop?

And it was reduced to half price?

Mind you it's much too gorgeous to sit on !!

We got a new throw for the back of the sofa . . . . . . . . . . . .

The duck egg blue of the new furnishings . . . .

Bring out the tones on the chimney breast and our wooden painted bench.

And it all looks meant to be . . . . . . . . . .

Hi looks so classy and very inviting with a different feel altogether, although i did love it before. Hope you have found somewhere for the so pretty pink curtains, get out the sewing machine again, they would be gorgeous in the boudoir!
