We have just returned from a four night break . . . . . . .
At our GORGEOUS Lavender Cottage . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
It was our wedding anniversary, and we were celebrating 21 years . . . . . . . . .
We booked our favorite restaurant . . . . . . . . . and when we arrived
Sue, the owner had made me a gorgeous bouquet . . . .
How lovely was that?
But we weren't just at Lavender for a holiday . . . . . . . .
We were refreshing and getting ready for the new season . . .
Our guests deserve only the best . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
We painted the kitchen . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
And oiled the worktops . . . . . . . . . . .
Oh that looks lovely and fresh . . . . . . . .
In the cupboard, can you see our colection of cookbooks?
And a new tea-cosy . . . . . . .
We went out in the garden . . . . . . . and tidied up too
Cutting back, and sweeping up . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The fresh bark we put down made it all feel tidy . . . . . . . . .
Aand the birds enjoyed their fresh seed . . . . . . . . . . . . .
But the biggest refresh was in the living room . . . . . .
